COURT SESSION ONLINE

Nowadays, the holding of a court session in the video conference mode has already become a common element of judicial proceedings in Ukraine.

What is necessary for remote participation in a court session:

– Check your computer for compliance with technical requirements;
– Have your own digital signature;
– Go to the official web portal of the Judiciary of Ukraine “Participation in a video meeting”;
– Register using your own electronic signature in the “EASYCON” system;
– No later than 5 days before the court session, submit an application to the court to participate in the court session via video conference outside the court premises;
– Send a copy of such a statement to other participants in the case;
– Receive confirmation by phone number or by e-mail from a court employee about the decision of the Presiding Judge regarding the technical possibility of conducting a meeting using a video conference.

The risk of non-participation in the court session due to technical reasons is borne by the person who submitted an application to participate in the court session through the use of video conference.
